Somatic, Craniosacral & Psychosexual Approaches
to Trauma & Addiction in Sussex
Clinics in Brighton and Lewes
My professional journey began through personal experience of how relational and somatic (body based) approaches can bring about profound and lasting change. These experiences continue to inform and enrich my practice.
I am fascinated by the human body, the psychology of health and how people can recover and grow following difficult and overwhelming moments in their lives. My training includes Craniosacral Therapy, Somatic Trauma Therapy, Psychosexual and Addiction Counselling and various other body-oriented approaches that support physical, psychological and emotional health.
For over a decade, I was a Senior Tutor on Craniosacral Therapy training courses where I taught foundational skills and theory to student practitioners. I now teach post-graduate workshops alongside my clinical practice.
I am a Registered Craniosacral Therapist with both the Craniosacral Therapy Association in the UK, the BCTA in North America (where I am also accredited as an approved teacher) and also through the IABT which oversees standards of practice worldwide. I practice in accordance with the CSTA Code oF Ethics. My training in Psychosexual Therapy and Sexual Addiction Counselling is accredited by College of Sexual & Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and the Association of Sexual Addiction Therapists (ATSAC).
Looking after my own health is important and I find support in several ways. As well as being in ongoing personal therapy and supervision, I enjoy an active lifestyle through various forms of movement and exercise as well as other practices that support my wellbeing.
